SHL twinwall flexible flue liner is used to reline a chimney, normally a masonry or concrete built chimney.

A 9 meter length of 5″ diameter 316 twinwall flexible flue chimney liner is predominantly used when installing a stove in a standard two storey dwelling where the chimney is usually 8-9 meters in length.

Usually this stove is installed where a heat producing appliance had been installed previously because there is an existing chimney flue in place. The 9 meter length of 5″ diameter 316 twinwall flexible flue chimney liner is then used to reline this chimney.

After installing a 9 meter length of 5″ diameter 316 twinwall flexible flue chimney liner in Ireland, the solid fuel stove or heat producing appliance is only permitted to burn smokeless fuel or biomass wood pellets. For more information about this, please click on the Downloads Tab above to download the 2014 Irish Building Regulations governing Heat Producing Appliances.
