9m 6″-5″ 316 Flexible Chimney Liner Flue Kit

SHL twinwall flexible flue liner is used to reline a chimney, normally a masonry or concrete built chimney.

A 9 meter length of 6″ diameter to 5″ 316 twinwall flexible chimney liner flue kit is predominantly used when installing a 6″ diameter 316 twinwall flexible chimney liner with a stove that has a 5″ collar in a standard two storey dwelling where the chimney is usually 8-9 meters in length.

Usually this stove is installed where a heat producing appliance had been installed previously because there is an existing chimney flue in place. The 9 meter 6″ diameter to 5″ 316 twinwall flexible chimney liner flue kit is then used to reline this chimney.

After installing a 9 meter length of 6″ diameter to 5″ 316 twinwall flexible flue chimney liner in Ireland, the solid fuel burning stove or heat producing appliance is permitted to burn bituminous coal, peat and seasons timber, in addition to smokeless fuel or biomass wood pellets. This 9 meter length of 6″ diameter to 5″ 316 flexible chimney liner flue kit contains the following; 1 x 9 meter length of 6″ diameter 316 twinwall flexible flue chimney liner, 1 x 6″- 5″ manchette start-off adapter, 1x 6″ clamp plate and 1 x 6″ anti bird / anti rain chimney cowl. Installation:

You will need to join this 9 meter length of 6″ diameter to 5″ 316 twinwall flexible flue chimney liner to some connecting flue pipe by means of the start-off manchette adapter and in addition, you hold the top of the flue in place with the 6″ clamp plate. In addition, it is necessary to protect the top of the flue by fixing the 6″ chimney cowl onto the end of the flexible liner. If you would like to insulate your flue your newly installed 9 meter 6″ diameter to 5″ 316 twinwall flexible chimney liner flue kit, we recommend AGC Thermal Wrap, however, this should be done before installing the clamp plate and chimney cowl.
